Creates and validates a reusable native Merman renderer.

Creates a renderer that sizes labels with glyph advances from fonts, the TrueType or OpenType files used to paint the SVG. A CSS family that names none of them resolves to the first font. Without fonts, Merman uses its built-in deterministic metrics.
