close

Closes the client and all of its components. Must be called to give buffered events a chance to be flushed and sent.

Flushing on close is best-effort: events that are still buffered because the validation metadata could not be loaded yet are dropped instead of being sent as unvalidated events.

Blocks the calling thread, which is unsupported on wasmJs; use the closeAsync extension there.
